Ophthalmology Clinical Content
The clinical content is specific forms within the EMR relating to the ophthalmology specialty. The forms contain ophthalmic terms for clinicians to utilize during the patient visit.
Practices will receive clinical content forms which include a broad range of clinical data covering your practice needs; however, should your practice require something more specific, new content can be created and customized to best suit your needs.
Visual Note
Incorporated into the base clinical content package is our annotation tool. Clinicians will be able to draw or add text directly on pre-defined templates with easy to use tools. The completed diagrams can be saved to the EMR chart with a single click of the mouse.
CentriView
This application is an additional tool that providers can utilize when reviewing images. CentriView lends major convenience to healthcare providers as multiple images within the patient’s electronic chart (taken by different ophthalmic devices) are placed into one form.
Image Interface
We created an add-on utility which allows easy acquisition of images and documents as EMR attachments. The interface makes it simple to pre-define multiple locations where different devices will store their images, whether on a server, a workstation in the exam room, or on a shared folder on the device itself.
(Images may be in any format supported by Windows or third party viewers installed on the EMR workstations, i.e. JPEG, TIFF, PDF, BMP, or even DICOM as long as the appropriate viewer is installed).
Optical Manager
This module links to the billing component of Centricity and is used to improve management over an optical shop.
Optical Manager efficiently manages tasks between the medical office and the optical dispensary saving practices time and money. Our standard reports allow your office to easily track sales productivity and secure inventory control.
